Start your workday with focus. End it with freedom.
The boundaries between work and life have blurred. Context switching is constant. You spend more time getting oriented than doing the work that matters.
Before you open anything, you check your bandwidth and name your priority. Decide what matters before the day decides for you.
With the plan set, your attention goes to what moves the day forward. It takes about 23 minutes to refocus after an interruption. Protecting focus blocks reduces the "cognitive tax" of your work. You get more done with less energy.
Unfinished tasks come out of your head and onto the page. Your brain loops on open work whether or not you are working, so closing the loop on paper is how you actually leave work at work.
Daily and weekly practice is recorded. If you don't feel like writing one day, you can listen to the prompts and answer them in your head with your eyes closed.
For when you're establishing a new habit and you want that lovely dopamine hit of a check every time you complete it.

The Deskside Journal works on its own to plan your workday. The Bedside sets the intention before the day starts and closes it out at night, so the focus you built at your desk has somewhere to land. Each one stands on its own, and they were built to work together.
